​Making granola at home is a great way to minimize waste, avoid those preservative nasties, AND cut down on your weekly food costs! ✨ Try this amazing Cherry & Chocolate Granola recipe by @healthy_twists to always have delicious crunchy granola on-hand.🍒 😋

Dry Ingredients:
2 cups rolled oats
​1/3 cup toasted almond flakes
​1/2 cup nuts of your choice (we love almonds and cashews!)
​1/2 pumpkin seeds
​1/4 tsp sea salt

​Wet Ingredients:
​3 Tbsp Coconut Oil
​​1 tsp vanilla extract
​​4 Tbsp maple syrup
​​4 heaping Tbsp cacao powder

Optional:
​​1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
​1/4 cup dried cherries

Method:
Make a chocolate paste by melting wet ingredients. Reduce heat and add dry ingredients. Stir until fully coated. Spread evenly on baking sheet (2cm thick) and baked at 160°C for 20 minutes until golden brown. Stir in chocolate chips, cherries, and enjoy!
