Healthy Protein Granola / Cereal!
1/2 cup oats
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds (uncooked)
1/4 cup chopped almonds (can substitute for any nut you want)
2 TBSP Hemp seeds (or other seeds)
2 TBSP honey or maple syrup (may want to use more if you like it sweeter)
Drizzle of coconut oil
Optional: teaspoon of cinnamon, teaspoon of cocoa powder, or teaspoon of vanilla
Optional to add when granola had cooked: coconut flakes
1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl, making sure everything is mixed very well.
2. Place granola on a baking sheet in the oven or air fryer at 325. I cooked mine in the air fryer for 15 minutes, but an oven will likely take 20. Cook until crispy.
3. Let the granola cool before eating (about 10 minutes).
4. Serve as cereal with some milk (I used oat milk) or add it as granola to some yogurt!
I would definitely recommend using the cinnamon, cocoa powder, and/or vanilla. I put both cinnamon and vanilla in mine.
