Healthy millet masala Cheela?

The best way to encourage healthy eating in your children is to eat well yourself. Kids will follow lead of the adults they see everyday I believe that parents especially mothers can influence their young children in diets by being role model by eating healthy and wholesome food.

So today’s post is all about health and nutrition. ❤

Millet cheela is a healthy and wholesome crepe that can make a wholesome breakfast or a dinner dish. This vegan and glutten free crepe made of super food jowar and ragi (sorghum and finger millet) is not only surprisingly delicious but is bursting with nutrition. Your kids would surely love this. The addition of green chillis, mint leaves and ginger garlic enhances the taste of the cheela.

Recipe ?
Ingredients
1. 2cup jowar flour
2. Half cup ragi flour
3. Half teaspoon turmeric
4. Half teaspoon coriander powder
5. 1tsp red chilli powder
6. 2tsp ginger garlic paste
7. 2tbsp finally chopped coriander leaves
8. 2tbsp finally chopped mint leaves
9. 1-2 finely chopped green chillies
10. Salt to taste

Method ?
In a mixing bowl take flour and add water gradually to make a smooth batter add rest of the ingredients and mix well. Make a pouring consistency. Heat a pan on a medium low flame and a laddle full of batter and spread it evenly. And cook with 1tsp oil. Once done flip and cook the other side. Serve the healthy cheela with chutney of your choice…
