Have you ever tried red lentils hummus? It has couple of advantages in comparison to classic chickpea version.
It’s very light, more sattvic by nature and you don’t have to cook it for hours. Of course if you make hummus of the canned chickpeas, it’s fast. But I don’t recommend to do it very often. The nature of canned food is devastated by high temperature and long storing.
Of course I LOVE old fashioned chickpea hummus!!! But now I’m in love with his light, smooth and insanely delicious younger brother ❤️?❤️
?So, all you will need is to cook red lentils and blend them with some water and same ingredients like for the classic hummus: tahini, olive oil, salt, garlic, cumin and lemon juice.
?Also I recommend to try another variation I call Mediterranean: tahini, olive oil, fresh rosemary, garlic and dried tomatoes ?
?Enjoy and be healthy ❤️
