It’s warm in the kitchen, and Lunch is ready, it’s our favorite Aloo Paratha. We never count calories to have piping hot Aloo Parathas.
1 Cup Boiled Mashed Potatoes
1 Chopped Green Chilli
1/4 Tsp Garam Masala
1/4 Cumin Powder
Some Chopped Coriander Leaves
1/4 Tsp Dry Mango Powder
1/4 Tsp Red Chilli Powder
Salt As Per Taste
1/3 Tsp Fennel Seeds
1 1/2 Cup wheat Flour
Salt As Per Taste
Water To Knead
1 Tsp Oil
1️⃣Take a bowl, add mashed potatoes, add all dry ingredients & Coriander. Mix till everything is well combined. Keep it aside.
2️⃣In a bowl add wheat flour, oil and salt. Add water little by little and mix. Knead to form a smooth and soft dough. Cover and let the dough rest for 15-20 minutes.
3️⃣Divide the dough into 4-6 equal parts. Take dough ball and roll like a thick small chapati, now add 2-3 tsp of stuffing in the center. Don’t overfill else it will be difficult to roll. Bring all the edges together and pinch to seal the edges.
Flatten the dough ball using your hands.
4️⃣ Now using your rolling pin, roll the dough like a chapati. Transfer paratha onto the hot tawa.
5️⃣Cook the side for a minute or two and then flip over. Apply oil on the half-cooked side and flip again. Now apply oil on the other side as well.
6️⃣Press with a spatula and cook the paratha till both sides turn golden brown.
