Have you ever baked a gluten free treat? We haven’t up to this point but the lovely @nutritionbysasha sent us her book full of gluten and sugar free treats and we just had to give it a go ?
I decided to make some peanut butter blondies and you know what the key ingredient was? A tin of chickpeas ?
All you had to do is blend the chickpeas with the other ingredients such as peanut butter and maple syrup, mix in vegan chocolate chips and bake. Super easy to make and definitely something we’ve never tried before! ?
Now, let’s talk about the taste. I was a bit nervous in the beginning considering the main ingredient is chickpeas but you can’t taste them at all! All you can taste is the peanut butter and chocolate chips which is great ?
What I did notice is that they were a little bit crumbly but I’d definitely still make them again since the flavour was great and it’s a lovely, healthy treat ❤️
