.Green Pepper Hummus.

I did it! I finally achieved the most delicious green pepper hummus… And, you know what? It is SO easy to make! If you’re interested in trying this tasty goodness, the recipe can be found right here ⬇️:

🌻Quick recipe:

Ingredients-

-2 poblano peppers
-4 hatch green chilies
-Handful of cilantro
-1/2 cup lemon juice
-1/2 cup olive oil
-1 tablespoon of white sesame seeds
-Salt and pepper
-1 8oz can of chickpeas

-To begin, slice the peppers in half and remove the stems. Keep the seeds in if you like spice.

-Roast the poblano peppers and the hatch green chilies with an olive oil drizzle and a healthy pinch of salt for 15 minutes at 450.

*Do not remove the outer skin from the poblanos once they have roasted.

-Rough chop the leaves of one bushel of cilantro.

-Add the peppers, chilies, cilantro, and a tablespoon of sesame seeds to a high powdered blender and pulse for 15 seconds.

-Next add the chickpeas. Preferably rinsed after they have been removed from the can.

-Pulse the chickpeas and peppers, chilies, and cilantro together adding olive oil and a 1/2 cup of lemon juice as you go. Taste as you go.

-Add salt and pepper to taste.

-When you have achieved your desired texture allow the hummus to cool in the fridge for up to an hour before serving.

-Top with some extra virgin olive oil, sesame seeds, and a pinch of paprika and you are free to enjoy! ✨
