Grateful for many things things this morning. 🌀 One of those things is this oatmeal. Ginger, orange, cardamom and a little touch of sweet. 🍊So enjoyable. Enjoying this while I try to structure and organize my week ahead. ✨

Orange Ginger Oats
1/3 or 1/2 cup rolled oats
2 tsp ground flax seeds
Zest of one orange
2 tsp maple syrup or 1 mashed date
Pinch of cardamom
1/4 tsp ground ginger (I used @primalpalate spices and it was really ginger forward love it)
1 cup unsweetened almond milk (if using 1/2 cup oats and you want to make creamier use and extra 1/4 cup of milk)
Pinch of salt

Add all ingredients to a sauce pan and bring to a simmer. Stir well and cook for about 3-5 minutes or until thickened. Once cooked removed from stove top and allow to cool for a minute or two while your prep your toppings. I served my oats with mango, blackberries, blueberries and pecans. πŸ₯£

Make these into overnight oats. Use 1/2 cup oats, 1 tbsp chia seeds, zest of one orange, pinch of cardamom, 1/4 tsp ginger, pinch of salt, 2 tsp maple syrup and 3/4 unsweetened almond milk. Just stir and set overnight in the fridge. 🍊
