CULINARY TRIP TO ISRAEL 🇮🇱😋
🇬🇧 (German in the comment) Since I spent New Year’s Eve 2019 to 2020 in Tel Aviv and enjoyed the beginning of the New Year at 20° and delicious food, I have been a big fan of Israeli cuisine. This is why I want to share my favorite Israeli recipes as part of the afba category „Feiern wir das Leben” so that we can at least travel culinary this year together ☺️

INGREDIENTS FOR THE SWEET POTATO & AUBERGINE PLATE
🔵 3 sweet potatoes
🔵 2 aubergines
🔵 To garnish: 1 pomegranate, fresh parsley, 1 lemon/lime, tahini etc.

DIRECTIONS
1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 200°
2️⃣ Put the sweet potato as a whole in the oven
3️⃣ Prick the aubergines with a fork and also put them in the oven
4️⃣ Turn everything over after approx. 25-30min
5️⃣ After further 20-30min test if aubergines and sweet potatoes are soft e.g. with a fork
6️⃣ It should be easy to peel the skin off the sweet potato and aubergines
7️⃣Serve each on a plate and garnish as you like, e.g. with falafel, slices of lemon and/or lime, pomegranate seeds, parsley and tahini
8️⃣ Enjoy!
