GAME DAY SNACKS 🏈
•Week 13- Pizza Pinwheels•
DOUGH
-1 1/2 cups of whole wheat flour
-1 packet of instant active yeast
-1/2 teaspoon of salt
-1/2 to 1 cup of water (adjust depending on flour)
Combine all ingredients to create a sticky ball of bough and let rise for 30 minutes
SAUCE
-1 medium carrot
-1/2 bell pepper
-1/2 onion
-4oz of mushrooms
-2 cloves of garlic
Sauté until tender
Combine sautéed veggies
-3oz of tomato paste
-2 teaspoons oregano
-2 teaspoons basil
-1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
-2 teaspoons ACV
(SEASON TO TASTE)
ADD all ingredients to blender with veggies, and water or veggie broth to help blend easier
ROLL OUT DOUGH
about 10inx14in
Spread on sauce mixture, top with vegan cheese (I used @so_delicious mozzarella), and I also added chopped spinach, bell pepper and mushrooms!
Roll dough to create a log shape and cut up into separate rolls!
Place in an oiled baking pan
BAKE AT 400F for 20 minutes
*Optional- add sauce and cheese to top and broil for about 5 minutes*
