DIY NO SUGAR, VEGAN, CHOCOLATEY LADDOO

These yummy, chewy, chocolatey laddoos are a crowd favorite. Kids can’t resist them coz they’re chocolatey. Elders love them coz they’re sugar free.

Laddoos are usually made with Immunity boosting, traditional ingredients & eaten at the change of season marked by religious celebrations.

Hashtags mein “energy bites/balls/bombs” likha hai usse please nazarndaaz kare😂😂🙈🙈

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup soft dates (soak khajoor o/n if unavailable)
1 tsp chopped almonds
1 tsp chopped cashew
1 tsp coconut oil (ghee if you aren’t vegan. I’m not, toh mene mast ghee dala!)

TIME: 10 mins

METHOD:
Pulse soft dates (remove water from soaked dates) to desired consistency. Someone’s i just mask with fork when dates are quite soft & that does the trick.
In a bowl mix the dates, chopped nuts & 1tsp cocoa powder. Apply coconut oil or ghee to your palms & roll laddoos of desired size. You might need to add a filip or two of the oil or ghee to the laddoo mixture so they bind easily.
Sprinkle cocoa powder on a few laddoos. Keeping them uncoated makes them sweeter. Coating them makes the chocolatey flavour more intense 🤩🤩

STORE: Keeps well in fridge for ~1 week

VARIATIONS: Simply keep the ratio of 1 cup dates to 2tsp dried fruit, nuts & seeds.
Other options: pistachio, sunflower seeds, papaya seeds, roasted chia seeds, raisins, cacao nibs, dried anjeer, pecan, walnuts, chocolate chips.
