Dal Palak (Split Bengal Grams and Spinach curry)

Ingredients –
Spinach
Split Bengal grams
Onion (chopped)
Ginger garlic paste
Tomatoes (chopped)
Green chillies (chopped)
Salt
Turmeric powder
Chilly Powder
Coriander powder
Cumin powder
Cumin seeds
Garam masala
Oil
Cooking process
1. Cook Split Bengal Grams in a pressure cooker for 2 whistle and let the steam fully release
2.Heat oil in a deep pan, add Cumin seeds, then chopped green chillies and ginger garlic paste, cook until raw smell vanishes. Now add chopped onions and mix well. While onions are cooking add turmeric powder, chilly powder, Cumin powder and coriander powder. Now keep stirring till onions becomes golden brown, time to add chopped tomatoes then Add a pinch of salt and let them cook till tomatoes become soft, press them with your spatula to form a paste and let Cook till it starts releasing oil.
3. Add chopped Spinach (no need to chop them finely) to Same pan and mix well, now add little bit of Pigeon pea’s broth and let it cook for 5 minutes.
4. Now transfer your cooked Split Bengal grams along with it’s broth to pan, mix thoroughly, add salt and garam masala. Cook for another ten minutes.
5. Eat now ?
