Cinnamon Sugar Crusted Mince Pie Pastry Twists 🎄

Sweet cinnamon puff pastry filled with fruity mincemeat. These are an easy and quick take on traditional mince pies, only need 5 ingredients, and they bake in 10 or 12 minutes

You’ll need

1️⃣375g/13oz pre-rolled puff pastry
2️⃣400g/14oz mincemeat
3️⃣A couple of tablespoons of plant milk
4️⃣Three teaspoons of demerara sugar
5️⃣One teaspoon of cinnamon


1️⃣Allow the pastry to warm to room temperature, then unroll it. Using the back of a spoon, evenly spread the mincemeat over half of the pastry
2️⃣Next, fold the other half of the pastry over onto the mincemeat
3️⃣Slice the pastry into eight equal strips. Twist each strip a few times before placing on a lined baking tray. Pop the tray in the fridge to chill for five minutes
4️⃣Mix together the cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl. Once you’re ready to bake the twists, brush each with the plant milk before sprinkling over the cinnamon sugar
5️⃣Bake at 200°C/180°C fan assisted for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for five minutes before moving onto a cooling rack
