Chocolate Granola !

Granola is a breakfast food and snack food which includes various healthy ingredients. It can be use as toppings on icecream, yogurt, salad, etc or with milk.
Ingredients like oats, nuts, seeds, cornflakes & jaggery for sweetness make it calorie-dense, as well as rich in protein, fiber, & micronutrients. It provides antioxidants and reduces cholesterol.

Recipe in short-

1)Dry roast –
*Rolled oats,
*Chopped nuts (Cashew, Pistachios, Almonds, walnuts),
*Seeds of Pumpkin, Cucumber, Sunflower, Flax, black and white Sesame,
*cornflakes (unsweetened)

2)Prepare jaggery syrup in pan by adding vanilla extract and roasted ingredients in it.

3)Mix well & roast untill become crunchy.

4)Switch off the flame & mix chopped dark chocolate in it.

5)Can add dry raisins, berries at end.

6)Store it in airtight jar after cooling down.

*Granola bars can also be made for carrying with on trekking, traveling, biking.
