Sesame oil makes everything taste amazing, am I right?! ( Granted that it is a savory dish, I cant imagine having sesame oil on pancakes 🀣) But honestly, sesame oil on noodles is on a whole other level of deliciousness πŸ˜‹. These super flavorful noodles are also really easy to make and only requires a handful of simple ingredients. Do give it a try ! β €

Sesame stir-fry noodles β €
– 2 servings noodles of choice ( about 120g )β €
– 1/2 julienned red bell pepper β €
– 6 thinly sliced button mushrooms β €
– handful of bean sprouts β €
– 2 cloves minced garlic β €
– 1 shallot, thinly slicedβ €
– 1 tbsp tamari β €
– 1 tsp sesame oil β €
– 1 tsp maple syrup β €
– green onions, to garnish β €

Cook the noodles according to package instructions and set it aside. β €

Heat up some oil in a pan. Saute shallot until caramelized. Add in the garlic, red bell pepper and mushrooms. Cook until veggies have softened, about 4-5 minutes. β €

Meanwhile, combine the tamari, sesame oil and maple syrup. This will be the sauce. β €

Turn of the heat and stir in the noodles and bean sprouts together with the sauce. Garnish it with green onions and serve it up !! πŸŒ±β €
