Chickpea avo smash ♡ Such a fresh, delicious and super simple recipe to add to toast, bagels, salad, or even on its own- guilty as charged🤩 Time to spice up your regular favourite!
1 can chickpeas
1 tbsp spring onion finely chopped
1 celery stalk finely chopped
1/3 cup avocado smashed
1 tbsp dijon mustard
1 tsp garlic powder
Dash of salt and pepper
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper and paprika (adjust to tasting, I added more than this because I like the extra spice)
Using a fork or food processor, roughly pulse/smash the chickpeas until broken a part (it should still be chunky for texture). In a bowl, add the chickpeas and combine the remaining ingredients until well mixed!
And you’re done! How quick and simple is that?!😍 Dont think I can ever go back to standard chickpeas or avocado on toast!
