Here is the recipe ➡️
INGREDIENTS:
Donuts:
Dry:
✅ 2 cups of self-raising flour
✅ 1/2 cup of granulated sweetener (can sub for brown sugar)
✅ 1/2 cup vegan salted caramel protein powder (I used @macr0mike – my discount code is “amb-chen” )
✅ 2 tablespoons instant chai powder (I used @chailords )
Wet:
✅ 1 cup non-dairy milk
✅ 1/4 cup of almond butter
*Optional: 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Frosting:
✅ 1/2 cup @macr0mike powdered almond butter + 1/4 cup non-dairy milk
✅ 2 teaspoon instant chai powder
*Optional: 2 Lotus biscuits – crushed, for decoration
METHOD:
1) Preheat the oven to 175℃/ 350 ℉. Spray two donut trays with non-stick spray or use a silicone one like i
2) Combine all the dry ingredients in a large bowl
3) Whisk together all the wet ingredients
4) Add the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix well until a thick batter forms
5) Divide the batter evenly amongst the donut holes
6) Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until cooked
7) Remove donuts from the oven and allow them to cool before decorating
8)Once the donuts have cooled, make the frosting by mixing the ingredients until smooth
9) Dip the donut in the frosting. Optional: sprinkle over the biscuit crumbs
