Care to join me for a Carrot Cake Smoothie anyone?????⠀

This Carrot Ginger Smoothie from @dailyharvest was tastier than I thought it would be! I combined the smoothie ingredients (banana, carrots, walnuts, sweet potato, cinnamon & nutmeg) w/ @silk organic soymilk & @drinkorgain organic plant based protein powder for a yummy fiber and protein packed breakfast smoothie.⠀

Have you tried Daily Harvest? They can be pricey, but I like keeping a few stocked in my freezer for quick and easy NOURISHING meals, plus my husband and daughter like them too. (Click on my profile link to try!) ⠀

I typically add some protein to my smoothies. This helps keep me energized & keep my blood sugar stable (=happy!?). I aim for a minimum of 20 grams of protein with every meal. ⠀

Besides protein powder, my favorite options to add to smoothies include frozen lentils or chickpeas, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, kefir, or organic tofu.⠀
