CABBAGE WRAP PANEER MOMO (NO OIL DUMPLINGS)

Servings: 2-3

Ingredients:
For wrap:
Cabbage- 1 or 2 large as needed

For filling:
Carrot- grated 1/2 cup
Soya Chunks- 1 cup
Paneer (cottage cheese)- 200 grams
Ginger garlic paste- 1 tablespoon
Salt- as per taste
Momo masala (spices) – 1 tablespoon
Oil- to grease the pan

Instruction
~Soak the soya chunk in hot water until soft, squeeze the water till dry, cut it finely or mince it in a blender
~Cut paneer and grate the carrot
~In a bowl add paneer, minced soya, carrot, salt and momo masala ~Take the cabbage cut it in half, remove the leaves (you can also put it in hot water and close the lid for 30 seconds, make sure you turn off the heat)
~Take the leaves and add one or two teaspoon filling and make any shape of your choice (use toothpick to close it tightly)
~Heat water in a steamer and grease the steamer pan with oil
~Add the momo’s keeping space between them and cover the lid for around 15 minutes till cooked. (Cooking time also depends on the flame)
~Serve hot (The tomato pickle goes well with momo. Refer to my previous posts for different pickle recipes)

Note: If you don’t have momo masala you can mix cumin powder, coriander powder, chilli powder and garam masala.
