BuT hOw Do YoU gEt YoUr PrOtEiN aS a VeGaN?!

*gestures broadly at fruit, nuts, plant sources, and this protein smoothie bowl*

This bowl is jam packed of protein and carbs, both of which I need a ton of right now after this mornings CrossFit WOD. ☠️ 🥵

Ingredients: vegan vanilla protein powder, chia seeds, hemp seeds, spirulina powder, coconut, frozen berry fruit mix, spinach, cashews, oat milk, 1/2 banana.

Protein sources (grams are in total for the entire bowl): vegan vanilla protein powder (22g), spirulina powder (4g), cashews (5g), hemp seeds (10g), chia seeds (6g), oat milk (2g), spinach (2g).

Total of 51 grams of protein! Which, for my weight gain/muscle building plan is half of the grams of protein I need per day.
