BUFFALO CHICKPEA FLAUTAS (v) with homemade vegan salsa queso dip and homemade salsa. I am a cheese lover. However, trying alternatives to cheese has been a neat experience because my body has always felt better when I minimize dairy. Do I still love a good cheese board? Ummm yes. Will I ever stop eating cheese? Probably not completely. Who knows? Maybe I’ll have periods of time without it. Cheese also holds a sentimental value for me. But the truth is, As much as I love dairy my body doesn’t always feel that way. One vegan cheese recipe I have grown to love is @elavegan cheese sauce. Super easy as it contains only 3 basic ingredients : tapioca flour, nutritional yeast, snd coconut milk. I wanted to give it a queso salsa vibe so I added a salsa verde salsa to it. Other seasonings are welcome like tumeric and paprika which I added as well. This Buffalo chickpea flauta recipe is also credited to her. So bomb! I highly recommend trying it out. I’ve found that for me all or nothing diets are not as sustainable. But incorporating balance is key and when I experiment with substitutes, I’ve learned one can find new found loves in different foods that may just make your body feel good about it later too.
