British Pancakes πŸ₯ž…… (or Classic French Crepe’s)πŸ‹

We served these with lashes of fresh lemon juice and a couple of teaspoons of sugar and really, that is all they need to take them to god-level pancake status. πŸ€€πŸ’š The full recipe can be found on our website – link in bio

So here’s what you’ll need:

β€’ 1 3/4 cup White flour
β€’ 2 3/4 cup Oat Milk
β€’ 2 tablespoon Coconut oil or vegetable oil of your choice ( and a tsp to grease the pan)
β€’ Sugar and Fresh Lemon Juice for the filing (and a smidge of icing sugar for dusting)

Method:

β€’ Use either a blender of an electric whisk and blend all the ingredients together until smooth. The batter should be more watery than an American pancake, and similar to the consistency of a Yorkshire pudding batter.
β€’ Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over medium/high heat. We recommend using coconut oil and a piece of absorbent paper to avoid adding too much oil.
β€’ Scoop the batter onto the pan, then tip and rotate the pan to spread batter as thinly as possible.
β€’ Brown on both sides about 1-2 minutes on each side and serve hot with lemon and sugar!
