CHIA BLUEBERRY JAM RECIPE⁠

Ingredients:⁠
• 3.5 cups fresh (or frozen, thawed) blueberries⁠
• ⅓ cup maple syrup or agave nectar (for non-vegans, the recipe uses honey)⁠
• ¼ cup fresh lemon juice⁠
• 4 tbsp chia seeds⁠

Instructions:⁠
1. Wash and rinse blueberries in cold water. ⁠
2. Place them in a small saucepan over medium heat and add the agave nectar or maple syrup and fresh lemon juice. ⁠
3. Mix as you go, first with a spoon and then use a potato masher (once they’ve softened) to muddle and mash about half of them. ⁠
4. When the syrupy mixture starts to boil + bubble, lower the heat and add the chia seeds. Stir over low heat for ~15-20 mins and remove from the stove. ⁠
5. Allow the jam to cool to room temp in order to solidify, place into a glass jar with a lid and into your fridge it goes (it achieves the best texture for ~4-6 hours).⁠
