Bliss balls are the perfect snack on the run or when you need a pick me up ?? My favourite chocolate bliss ball recipe is below – I like to keep them in the freezer and take them out just before I eat them so they are gooey and fudgy ?⁣

Groceries:⁣

1 cup pitted dates (soaked in boiling water for 10 minutes)⁣
1-2 scoops chocolate or vanilla @gogood pea protein⁣
3 tablespoons @matakanasuperfoods cacao powder⁣
2 teaspoons coconut sugar⁣
2 tablespoons cacao nibs⁣
½ cup melted coconut oil⁣
1 tablespoon chia seeds⁣
2 cups almond meal⁣
Shredded coconut for rolling (optional)⁣
Pinch of salt⁣

Get rolling:⁣

Add all ingredients into a high speed blender (be sure to drain the dates first). Blitz until smooth or mixture rolls into one big ball in the blender. Roll into desired size balls, place onto a lined baking tray and freeze. Once frozen, keep in a sealed container in the freezer for up to 6 months. Best enjoyed straight out of the freezer.⁣

Alternatives: if you like a more crumbly texture, add more almond meal. Add nut butter, coffee or a few drops of mint essential oil for different flavour options.⁣
