🟢 Black Pepper Tofu with Green Beans 🟢

Easy yet delicious lunch I made yesterday so I wanted to share. Love all the flavors especially the spice coming from the freshly ground black peppercorns! Had this with a heaping cup of rice and looooads of chili garlic oil 😋

Ingredients:
250g firm tofu
1 cup green beans (you can probably opt for another type of green like asparagus)
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/8 cup water
3 cloves garlic
1 knob of ginger around 1 tbsp
1 tbsp fresh black peppercorns, crushed and grinded
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp rice vinegar

Directions:
Cut tofu into cubes and fry on a nonstick pan until golden brown on all sides. Remove from pan then add the garlic and ginger with a bit of oil or water. Next, add the soy sauce, maple syrup, water, and freshly crushed pepper. Stir in green beans followed by the tofu. Remove from heat once sauce starts to thicken. Serve with warm rice.
