Ingredients:
– block of firm tofu, pressed and thickly sliced
– cornflour / cornstarch to coat
– 3 cloves of garlic, minced
– 3 slices of ginger, finely chopped
– handful of spring onions, chopped
– 2 tbsp light soy sauce
– 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
– 1/2 tbsp Chinese cooking wine, skippable
– 1/2 tbsp vegan oyster sauce, skippable
– 3 tbsp water
– 1-2 tbsp freshly ground pepper
Such an easy recipe but so easily adapted to other proteins too. This is a classic for beef steak and slices. Try it if you’re a meat eater ??
