Over the past few weeks, I’ve been put on a modified diet by my practitioner and it’s taken time for me to find a new ‘normal’ and find new ingredients I can cook with. It’s also been such a journey experimenting with completely new recipes and at times, I’ve just wanted something reliable that I know will taste good 🥣

I wanted to take a step back and just stick to my ethos I’ve had since the start of my page which is #eattherainbow (really sad I didn’t have anything purple here though 😂)

I’ve been sticking to a lot of vegetables – raw during the day and cooked in the evening to best aid your digestive system – and the best bit is that every veg adds a different texture and crunch to the meal!

If you’ve never used chaat masala when cooking black chana, idk what to tell you (you’re missing out!! 😋) It’s such a good source of protein and quite frankly just gives me a break from chickpeas all the time!

I did drizzle a generous dash of olive oil on top to get my healthy fats to switch it up from from all the coconut oil I’ve been consuming throughout the day 🥥

Huge disclaimer though – this is just one meal of my day and don’t let social media trick you into thinking that you HAVE to eat greens all the time to be healthy as well all know, life is about balance ⭐
