? Black beans are high in fibre (15g per cooked cup), protein (15g per cooked cup) and low in fat (less than 1g per cooked cup). ⁠

?There are many health benefits related to black beans, they are antioxidants, help reduce blood sugar and maintain a healthy heart. ⁠

?Ingredients ⁠
1 Sweet Potato (peeled and cubed)⁠
1 ½ Cups of Black Beans (cooked and rinsed)⁠
1 Cup of Kale leaves (chopped)⁠
1 stalk of green onion (chopped)⁠
½ Cup of Quick Oats⁠
2 tsps Cumin⁠
1 Garlic clove (minced)⁠
½ tsp Sea salt⁠

?Preheat the oven to 375° F. Bake the chopped sweet potato for about 30 minutes, until cooked through.⁠

Once cool, mash the potatoes adding the black beans and continuing to mash. ⁠

Add the rest of the ingredients and seasoning to the mixture and stir well until combined. ⁠

Create burger patties about 1 inch thick then place onto a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes. ⁠

After 15 minutes flip the burger and bake for another 15 minutes. ⁠
