Best #vegan #meatsauce hands down!!๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ Instead of fake processed meat alternatives, which often have questionable additives that can affect your health (ummm #beyondmeat), you use #wholefood alternatives like #lentils and #blackbeans for #protein, which are actually beneficial for #hormonalhealth (protein and #fiber are essential).

I don’t normally use pasta noodles, but when I do I love @bentilia.pasta ๐Ÿ‘Œ It’s made from #legumes, high in protein and doesn’t upset my stomach.

Make this delicious sauce at home with my recipeโฌ‡๏ธ
.

INGREDIENTS:
.

1/2 tbsp. coconut oil

1ย large red onion, finely chopped

3ย cloves of garlic, finely chopped

2 tbsp. fresh basil, diced

1 tbsp. dry oregano

2 tspย organic, gluten-free stock powder

1 tspย cinnamon

1.5 cup brown lentils, soaked and cooked

1/3 cup black beans, soaked and cooked

500ย ml crushed tomatoes

DIRECTIONS:
.

1) In a deep pot, heat your coconut oil and add your diced onions. Cook on medium-low heat for around 5 minutes or until soft.
.

2) Add in your garlic, salt, pepper, basil, oregano, stock powder, cinnamon and give your mixture a good stir. Cook for 5 more minutes on medium-low heat.
.

3) Add in your lentils, black beans, tomatoes, and any other veggies you might want to add like peppers, celery, zucchini, etc. Stir well and then turn the heat to low and pop on the lid for about 20 minutes.
.

4) Remove from heat, give it a good stir and add on top of pasta. Soo yummy – enjoy.๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘Œ
