🥕bbq cauliflowerws!!🍗
these last hot summer days are drifting away so I’m trying to enjoy bbq – type meals till it’s too cold!! these wings come out juicy and flavourful on the inside and crispy and spicy on the outside! pictured are two versions!

oven 200 C/390 F

cauliflower wings:
1 head, in bite sizes
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp salt
option 2:
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 cup flour
grapeseed or avocado oil

potatoes and chickpeas
1 tsp lemon pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1 tsp oregano and thyme
1/2 tsp salt

bbq sauce: (large quantity)
1 ½ cup ketchup 400 ml
¼ cup coconut sugar or brown sugar
2 tbs maple syrup
2 tbs apple cider vinegar
1 tbs vegan butter
1 tsp mustard
1 tbs onion powder
1 tbs garlic powder
1 sp pepper
¼ sp cayenne pepper
¼ tsp salt

ranch:
1 cup vegan mayo
1/2 cup vegan sourcream or plain coconut yoghurt
2 tbs chives
2 tbs parsley
2 tbs dill
1 tbs garlic powder
1 tbs onion powder
salt, pepper to taste
lemon juice

cut and clean your cauliflower, place in a bowl and drizzle avocado oil and seasoning
place in oven for 10 min

do the same with potatoes and chickpeas letting them bake on a separate pan

bbq:
in a saucepan add all the ingredients and whisk.
place on the stove on medium heat. let the sauce simmer for 15 minutes stirring occasionally
let cool and transfer to a jar

bring out cauliflower and gently coat in bbq sauce before placing back on tray, OR if you want to add crumbs, mix crumbs and flour, dip cauliflower in flour mix before coating it in an additional layer of bbq sauce, place back on baking tray and bake for another 25 min till crispy brown

make ranch sauce by adding all ingredients to blender, blend only a couple of times to get a thick and nice sauce, top w lemon juice

when potatoes, chickpeas and cauliflower also are nice and brown, remove from oven. add to your plate, add fresh veggies like kale, tomatoes, bell pepper, olives, and carrots and top w ranch seasoning

pic 3+4 is the breadcrumb version 😋 who tried a dish like this for the first time this summer?❣️give thanks
