back with another hugh protein meal and this is so simple ! teriyaki tofu bowl ?

just another simple dinner tonight since i dont have enough in my fridge for an extravagant meal. pretty much just eyeballed some sauces and popped them in a bowl for the stir fry sauce

as for macros this has 23g carbohydrates, 21g fat and 38g of protein !! i didn’t count the macros for the marinade though cos i’m lazy sorry but u get the idea it’s just full of protein so if that’s what ur looking for here it is ?

ingredients for the tofu
– 280g block of firm tofu
– 3 tbsp soy sauce
– 3/4 sesame oil
– 3/4 tbsp maple syrup
– 1 tbsp teriyaki sauce
– turmeric
– olive oil

method
1. preheat the oven to 180 C
2. make sure the tofu is pressed and drained if needed
3. cut the tofu into 1.5cm thick squares
4. arrange them flat on a baking tray, sprinkle and coat the pieces with a little turmeric
5. drizzle some olive oil over them and pop in the oven
6. bake for 15-20 mins and flip them over inbetween baking
7. while they bake prepare the marinade by adding all the other ingredients into a bowl and stir
8. when the tofu is baked dip them into the bowl and coat both sides
9. heat a non stick frying pan and add some sesame oil
10. when hot add the marinaded tofu into the pan and fry 3 mins until the sauce goes a little thick and bubbly
11. flip them onto the other side and pour over the excess sauce and cook for another 3 mins
12. serve with rice, a drizzle of rice wine vinegar, cucumber and radish if you like
