Baath na Bhajia (leftover rice fritters)

Bhaat Na Bhajiya are Bhajiyas made from Leftover rice. What better way to use up rice from the night before.
They are super easy to make as prepared quickly too.
Enjoy these moreish bite size bhajias with a spicy tomato and garlic chutney, a green coriander chutney or simply with plenty of ketchup. Needles to say, serve with a hot cuppa masala chai.

Ingredients
πŸ‘‰πŸΌ1 cup cooked rice
πŸ‘‰πŸΌ1/2 cup chick pea flour
πŸ‘‰πŸΌ1/2 cup yoghurt
πŸ‘‰πŸΌ1/4 cup chopped onions
πŸ‘‰πŸΌ1 tsp chopped green chillies
πŸ‘‰πŸΌ1 tbsp chopped garlic
πŸ‘‰πŸΌ1 tbsp chopped ginger
πŸ‘‰πŸΌ1 grated potato
πŸ‘‰πŸΌ1/4 cup chopped fenugreek leaves (methi)
πŸ‘‰πŸΌ1 tsp salt
πŸ‘‰πŸΌ1 tsp chilli powder
πŸ‘‰πŸΌ1 tsp turmeric powder
πŸ‘‰πŸΌa pinch asafoetida
πŸ‘‰πŸΌ1/2 tsp baking soda
πŸ‘‰πŸΌ1/2 tsp amchur powder
πŸ‘‰πŸΌ2 tbsp chopped coriander
πŸ‘‰πŸΌ2 tbsp oil
πŸ‘‰πŸΌoil for deep frying

Method
πŸ‘‰πŸΌCombine all the ingredients in a bowl, mix well.

πŸ‘‰πŸΌHeat the oil for deep frying, using a spoon, start dropping little ball size amounts into the oil and fry them until golden brown.

πŸ‘‰πŸΌOnce done, serve right away with green coriander chutney and red tomato and garlic chutney.
