Baath na Bhajia (leftover rice fritters)

Bhaat Na Bhajiya are Bhajiyas made from Leftover rice. What better way to use up rice from the night before.
They are super easy to make as prepared quickly too.
Enjoy these moreish bite size bhajias with a spicy tomato and garlic chutney, a green coriander chutney or simply with plenty of ketchup. Needles to say, serve with a hot cuppa masala chai.

Ingredients
??1 cup cooked rice
??1/2 cup chick pea flour
??1/2 cup yoghurt
??1/4 cup chopped onions
??1 tsp chopped green chillies
??1 tbsp chopped garlic
??1 tbsp chopped ginger
??1 grated potato
??1/4 cup chopped fenugreek leaves (methi)
??1 tsp salt
??1 tsp chilli powder
??1 tsp turmeric powder
??a pinch asafoetida
??1/2 tsp baking soda
??1/2 tsp amchur powder
??2 tbsp chopped coriander
??2 tbsp oil
??oil for deep frying

Method
??Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, mix well.

??Heat the oil for deep frying, using a spoon, start dropping little ball size amounts into the oil and fry them until golden brown.

??Once done, serve right away with green coriander chutney and red tomato and garlic chutney.
