Anyone in the mood for Gnocchi???
For this super easy rosemary tomato sauce I heated olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat, added 500g of halved cherry tomatoes, a splash of water, 1 1/2 tbsp. finely chopped rosemary and some salt and pepper. I let that cook for about 5 minutes until the tomatoes were soft and blended them with a immersion blender until everything was smooth. I transferred the sauce to a bowl and, again, heated some olive oil in the saucepan. Then I added 3 cloves of minced garlic and 1 tsp. of dried chili flakes to the saucepan, let that cook for about 1 minute, added the tomato sauce and cooked everything for another 2-3 minutes ??? This was enough sauce for 1kg of dried gnocchi (4 portions)?
