🥢Air-Crisp Teriyaki Tofu with Purple Noodles

Simple yet satisfying air-fried tofu & broccoli with Teriyaki Sauce over Purple Sweet Potato Noodles for weekday’s dinner.

Extra firm tofu, blanched broccoli and purple sweet potato noodles (cook and set aside).

Air-fried tofu:
I’m using Ninja Foodi OP300 (Promo code➡️link in bio), select Aircrisp at 200°c, for 18-20 minutes, flip through in between, air-fry until the tofu is deeply golden and crisp on the edges. (with or without oil)

For the teriyaki sauce:
1/3 cup soy sauce or tamari
3 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons maple syrup
2 tablespoon rice vinegar
1/2 teaspoon sambal oelek (optional)
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
Constarch slurry (1 teaspoon cornstarch whisked together with 1 teaspoon of water)

In a saucepan over medium-hight heat, whisk together all of the ingredients for the sauce except the cornstarch slurry.

Bring the sauce to a boil then whisk in the cornstarch slurry.

Reduce the heat to medium and continue to whisk until the sauce thickens.

Put the tofu & broccoli into a mixing bowl and toss with the desired amount of teriyaki sauce. Serve over noodles or rice and sprinkle with some white sesame. Enjoy! 😋
