Don’t sleep on cashew cheese. It takes a while to get used to, especially if you’ve just given up dairy or are newly vegan. Melted cashew cheese tastes LIKE DAIRY CHEESE. Even the texture is okay for me! It’s not too gooey like coconut “mozzarella”, & it has a better taste. Did you know that Trader Joe’s has two new cashew cheese products now? & YES, they’re vegan. One is cashew mozzarella shreds, the other is cashew cheddar slices. I used the mozzarella shreds for this & wow it was PERFECT! Any other cashew cheese fans here?? ⁣⁣

Ingredients for pizza: ⁣⁣
• Pre-made pizza dough ⁣⁣
• Pizza sauce ⁣⁣
• Cashew Mozzarella Shreds (I got mine from @traderjoes but you could also use @miyokoscreamery) ⁣⁣
• Toppings: mushroom slices, sliced black olives, jalapeño slices, & cherry tomato slices ⁣⁣
• Spices: red pepper flakes & garlic powder (optional) ⁣⁣

For garlic crust: ⁣⁣
• Melted vegan Butter ⁣⁣
• Garlic Powder ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Loose Instructions: ⁣⁣
• Spray/line baking sheet to ensure your dough doesn’t stick to the pan ⁣⁣
• Pre-heat the oven to 450 degrees ⁣⁣
• Work your dough to reach the edges of the pan, resulting in a rectangle shape ⁣⁣
• Melt the butter & brush it around the entire crust of the pizza ⁣⁣
• Sprinkle garlic powder over the butter around the crust ⁣⁣
• Spread a light amount of sauce onto the pizza ⁣⁣
• Sprinkle your preferred amount of cheese ⁣⁣
• Add your preferred toppings ⁣⁣
• Put it in for 10-15. Check it at the 10 minute mark, but it will definitely need more time!
