Tonight I debated with myself if I wanted to put out the money for that new @beyondmeat pizza at @pizzahut but then realized spending that money on a pizza with only sauce and Beyond sausage was kind of crazy since The Hut charges for each additional topping that you put on and they also don’t include this pizza on the three toppings for x amount of money special.
Instead I decided to make mine from scratch! 😉
I’ve had a @zojirushiamerica breadmaker for years but only tend to break it out in the winter (I’ve got my reasons! 😂), the dough feature is literally a dumping in of the ingredients and it does the work. Bread makers are one of those appliances that people get rid of because they never use, I have a smaller one that I bought at a thrift shop for $5.
When I make pizza sauce I always x2 the recipe and freeze half so the next time I go to make pizza I won’t have to do this. I also had a block of cheese in the freezer, made from a recipe from @schoolnightvegan ‘vegan grateable cheese’ – I usually let it thaw but this time I decided to see what would happen if I grated it in my food processor. Curiosity satisfied, it becomes cheese snow! 🤣 🤣 🤣 But still melted beautifully.
Frozen pepper/onion mix from @dollartree, canned mushrooms and olives from @aldiusa with an air fried @gardein Ultimate burger crumbled on top. Added a couple of sliced up cherry tomatoes that needed using up. And a sprinkling of @FollowYourHeart parmesan when it came out of the oven.
Get it together Pizza Hut, get a vegan cheese and add the Beyond topping to the specials!
