This is the easiest and quickest flat bread – the recipe I use comes from BBC Food. Perfect for crispy vegan pizzas. ???⁣⁣

Flatbread Recipe: ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
? 200g/7oz plain or wholemeal flour⁣⁣
⁣⁣
¼ tsp salt⁣⁣
⁣⁣
100ml/3½fl oz warm water⁣⁣
⁣⁣
2 tbsp oil (olive, sunflower or vegetable), plus extra for cooking⁣⁣
⁣⁣
⁣⁣
? Place the flour and salt in a bowl. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
• Gradually add the water.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
• Use a spoon to gently combine. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
• Add the oil and you should get a soft dough. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
• Knead for around 5 minutes. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
• Split the dough (I made 3 pizzas – see image for size).⁣⁣
⁣⁣
➡️ You’ll need to make sure all of your toppings are ready before you fry the dough!⁣⁣
⁣⁣
• Roll them out and place them one at a time in a heated oiled pan – I used a pancake pan. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
• You will get pockets of air puffing up as you fry. I like mine super crispy. Cooking time is around 2 minutes per side, you’ll need to adjust the heat depending on how crispy you like it. I brushed the other side of the flatbread with oil before I flipped. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
• After you’ve flipped, spread any sauce or toppings on the cooked side, these will heat from the bottom as your flatbread cooks. The heat is enough to warm your toppings but not cook them through, so toppings such as mushrooms would need to be cooked before hand. ⁣⁣
