SO HAPPY to have discoveres LENTIL FLAT BREAD as is sooo easy to make, gluten-free, oil-free, protein-rich and delicious. It’s great as a pizza crust or just as a filling side dish for salad or soup.

 2 ingredients for 3 breads:
°1 1/4 cup red lentil flour
°1 1/4 cup water

I also added
°1 tsp salt
°1/4 tsp pepper
°fresh chopped oregano and thyme


If you don’t have flour you can also use dried red lentils and make flour in a high-speed blender.

Add flour in a bowl, add spices(Optional), add water and combine with a whisk. Let the batter sit for 2-3 minutes so the lentils absorb some of the water and it becomes thicker.

In the meantime, heat up a non sicky frying pan and grease it slightly. Pour 1/3 of the batter and spread it with the back of a spoon. Cook for 2-3 minutes over medium heat, then flip over and cook another 1-2 minute.
