? Cauliflower Crust Vegetable Pizza ? @sculptedkitchen
Make it a pizza night! This freshly baked cauliflower crust, topped with tomato sauce, cheese, roasted vegetables, olives, and herbs is an award winning combo. Warm melted plant-based cheese + bread = yum!! ???
* INGREDIENTS *
1 large Cauliflower
¼ cup Chickpea Flour
1 Flax Egg
1 T Nutritional Yeast
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Italian Seasoning
½ tsp Onion Powder
½ tsp Himalayan Salt
* DIRECTIONS *
1. Preheat the oven to 400F and boil a pot of water.
2. The cauliflower needs to be cooked a bit before pulsing it into a rice. Add your cut cauliflower florets to the boiling water for 5 minutes, then drain.
3. Place the cauliflower in a food processor and mince.
4. Using a cheese cloth, squeeze all of the liquid out of the cauliflower rice.
5. Add all of the remaining ingredients into the processor with the dried cauliflower rice and mince until combined.
6. On parchment paper, spread the mixture into a circle and form an edge for the crust of your pizza.
7. Bake for 35 minutes, then remove from the oven.
8. Add your preferred pizza toppings and cook for another 15 minutes.
