Happy July! We made it to the second half of 2020 ? For breakfast, I made these vegan sausage pizza roll… things? I don’t know what to call them, but they were good ?? To make them, I topped some prepared crescent dough (a lot of them are vegan ? just check the ingredients) with garlic granules, salt, Italian seasoning, and nutritional yeast. Then I added a dollop of tomato sauce and 1/8 of a @fieldroast Italian sausage. Next I tucked in the corners of the triangle and rolled the dough into a little pocket, and then baked the pastries for 12-ish minutes. I had to bake them for a little longer than I normally would just normal crescent rolls to get them to cook through, so if you make these, keep that in mind. These would also be great with a little vegan cheese inside, but I didn’t have any so I just used nutritional yeast and they still turned out great.
