What do you do when something is too beautiful to eat? But also, how do you stop yourself when it looks that good?!

@nessthebowerbird made these sticky ,fudgy brownies… can you let us know?!

It’s #nationaldessertday so we’re sharing some of ours and some of your most drool-worthy recipes. Head to our stories to check em out!

For now, prepare yourself for these insanely delicious brownies. Here’s what’s inside:
1 Cup + 1Tbsp sprouted walnuts
1/4 cup smooth, roasted almond butter
1/4 cup raw almond butter
1.5 cups packed medjool dates(pitted)
1/2 cup + 1Tbsp raw cacao powder
1/2 tsp espresso powder
1/2 tsp Ceylon cinnamon
1/4 tsp vanilla bean powder
1/4 tsp cardamom
1/8 tsp fine sea salt
1/4 cup chopped / crushed pecans(for the top).
.
Process the walnuts and dates in a food processor until finely ground, then add the almond butter and process until well combined. Then add the rest of the ingredients(except for the pecans) and pulse to incorporate. It should be the consistency of a sticky dough. If too dry add a small amount of water and pulse a few more times.

Transfer the mixture to a parchment lined, square baking pan (aprox. 8 inch) and firmly press the mixture down evenly into the pan. Sprinkle on top the crushed pecans, pressing them gently into the top of the brownies.

Cover and place in the fridge for 1-2 hours. Remove from fridge and cut into squares. Add any extras like finely chopped chocolate, crushed rose petals / other edible flowers. Enjoy!
