CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT PEAR TARTS

Just in time for @britishbakeoff dessert week and because I promised!

What you neeed (makes 2 tarts)

FOR THE PASTRY
• 65g @bulk whole almonds (ground)
• 35g buckwheat flour
• 30ml maple syrup
• 45g melted @bulk coconut oil,
• 1 tbsp @bulk cacao powder

FOR THE FILLING
• 2 tbsp @bulk dark chocolate hazelnut butter
• 1 tbsp @bulk cacao powder
• 10g melted @bulk coconut oil,
• 1 tbsp maple syrup

TOPPINGS
• 2 tinned pair halves sliced
• @bulk chocolate protein almonds chopped (for sprinkling)

What to do
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius and grease 2 small tart tins with coconut oil.
2. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl using your hands.
3. Divide the mix between the tins and press into them so that they are lined.
4. Bake for 20 minutes, remove from the oven and leave to cool in the tin for 5-10 minutes.
5. Next mix all the ingredients for the filling together in a bowl.
6. To assemble the tarts, remove the tart from their tins, spread a layer of the hazelnut butter mix and then top with the pear and chopped chocolate almonds. Enjoy as is or serve with cream or ice cream (because that’s the best way!)
