Cauliflower “steaks” or as I prefer to call it, Oven Roasted Cauliflower!
This was sooooooooo good! Warm, comforting, hearty flavor, and all around feel good food. Also fairly simple and quick!
•Large head of cauliflower
•Spices~ Paprika (1/2 TBS), Turmeric (1/4 TBS), Ginger (small dash of powder or fresh chopped), Black Pepper (about 6-8 grinds), Lemon (small squeeze), Braggs Amino Acids (about 6-8 dashes), Toasted Sesame Seed Oil (3-4 drops).
Take the head of Cauliflower, rinse and pull the excess stems and leafs off. Slice across and through to get about 1/4 inch thick slices. *note the edge pieces will fall off, you can keep them and roast all together or use them for a separate dish later
Place slices in a casserole dish or a large lipped baking sheet.
Mix together: Braggs Aminos, sesame oil, and two tablespoons of hot water. Drizzle half this mixture over your cauliflower slices. Leave it to “soak” for about a minute.
Then sprinkle half of the dry spices over the top.
Bake in the oven at 450 degrees for 15 minutes.
Pull out and gently turn the cauliflower slices over. Repeat previous steps of adding the liquid and then sprinkling the spices on the slices. Bake for another 15 minutes.

And of course I needed a sweet treat, so I made gooey chocolate chip cookies for dessert 😉
