plantbased green bean casserole 🕊✨☁️
my favorite side by farrrr, i could eat pans and pans of this. and this is a super easy dairy free version!
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– 1/2 sweet onion (diced)
– 1 tsp garlic
– 3 tbsp all purpose flour
– 3-4 cans of green beans (make sure they are salted kind)
– 1 pint of mushrooms
-1/2 cup chicken or veggie broth
– 1.5 cups of oat milk
– fried onions
– 2 tsp salt
– 1 tsp pepper
1. pre heat oven to 350. sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until translucent. add chopped mushrooms once translucent.
2. add the flour to the veggies and garlic until all coated. add broth and oatmilk as well. bring to low-medium heat to thicken.
3. add green beans to large baking pan along with the cream of mushroom mixture! bake at 350 for about 25 min then add fried onions on top and bake for 5-10 more depending on how crispy you like! 🤍
