Oh my goodness you guys. Dinner tonight was a winner. Made these chicken(pea) fried steak patties as part of @theoptimalbody and @docjenfit ‘s 7 day #strongmobilefree program after finishing the workout and mobility work for the day. Added on a salad with Greek dressing (@louz_kitchen ) and pickled red onions (@thecuttingveg ) topped with feta. So good. Already excited to eat this again for dinner tomorrow night. AND…everything (except the feta) is plant based/vegan, if you’re going for that sorta thing
So the chickpea patties are seriously delicious and I fully intend to make them again. However, one of the ingredients is quinoa flour, which I couldn’t find. So I subbed some almond flour and I’m guessing that changed the consistency of the “dough”, because it was really difficult to keep the patties together. So I’ll probably use this recipe as a base and try to figure out what adjustments are needed to make it work for me. But really…who knew chickpeas could be so good
