Garlic Seafood Pasta for Dinner last night and for lunch today. Pasta is one of those dishes I can eat for lunch or dinner. I whipped up this Garlic Seafood Pasta in under 30 minutes. We are getting ready to hit the road and I didn’t want to waste any of the seafood I had, so I just threw it all in this pasta. I don’t know about you, but each time I eat pasta, I get a lot of energy😀. This meal helped my track workout this evening.
Angel hair pasta
3/4 lb top and middle neck clams
1/2 a of small bag of fresh mussels (scrubbed and debearded)
1/2 lb of Shrimp
3/4 cup of chicken broth
small pack of mushrooms
1 cup of cherry tomatoes
1 red onion thinly sliced
2 tbs of crushed garlic
1/2 stick of butter
4 tbs of olive oil

First clean the mussels very well by scrubbing and debearding. Then clean the clams. Removing any dirt.
Prepare pasta in salted boiling water. Follow directions on the package.
Prepare the sauce by placing 2 tbs of butter, 2 tbs of olive oil, garlic, and 1/2 red onion in a skillet to sauté the onion.
Once onions are finished sautéing, add chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Then add muscles and clams and cover with a lid for about 5 minutes. Stir the clams and mussels to ensure they soak in broth.
Discard any clams and mussels that do not open.
Next take the rest of the butter, garlic, olive oil, onion, and mushroom and sauté in a skillet. Then add shrimp once onions are soft. Once shrimp are done, add tomatoes.
Next, add pasta to the sauce. Then with a big soup spoon, put broth from the clams and muscles into the pasta. Be careful not to add any residue from clams and mussels. Next, add clams and mussels. Give it a stir and that’s it. Great tasting pasta!
